thanks for the fav! I just painted it directly with photoshop, no real planning. I used that second set of hard brushes, that comes with the airbrush capabilities turned on. You know, the one that when you look closely you can see all those little ball intersecting each other? It is good because the line kind of fade at the beginning and at the end, but it still looks hard-edged. I kept the piano, the player, the stool, the dog, and the background in different layers. Used some gradients now and there.

I guess the most different thing I did in this ones was not separating the light and the shadows in layers. I was going for a less digital look so I just painted everythingon the base color.

Don't really know if my explanations made any sense... I am sorry but I don't have the step-by-step for it, it is all flatted out by now.

That really explains alot! did u use the graphic tablet or just mouse?

tablet. I used to do things with the mouse, but once you start using a tablet you can never go back.

hahaha, valeu Ferps! Eu até tentei colocar umas texturas, mas achei melhor deixar sem, só com o pouquinho de textura que consegui com os brushes. O Weberson é foda, né? muito bom pra aprender

eu também já fiz o curso de férias dele lá na Quanta. Ele fez uma ilustra que nem aquelas que ele faz pros jornais em 15 minutos. E olha que ele tava explicando.
